I at Elon. … Finished with 19 goals (including three hat tricks) and

seven assists. … Competed in varsity soccer all four years at Potomac.

…Was all-region junior, when he scored 15 goals (on 30 shots) and

assisted on three others. …Ghana native has sights on becoming a doctor

and would like to major in biology.

Most memorable moment: “Probably when we beat Hylton,

because they were leading 2-0 and then I had my first hat trick of the

season.”

Who influenced you the most in soccer? “My parents.

My dad played soccer and my mom played a bunch of sports.”

What do you like most about playing soccer? “Getting

to show people my talent. It’s helped in many ways, outside the field,

too.”

What area have you improved the most in from last year to

this year? “My leadership skills. I had to be so talkative

so much this season.”

head coach, Kraft guided the team to nin-match winning streak and the

Northwest Region semifinals following at 1-5-1 start. … Will join

coaching staff as junior varsity coach at Enloe High School in Raleigh,

N.C. next year. … Had served as Gar-Field assistant coach for four

years. … Played stopper for 1991-94 Indians’ teams before attending

James Madison University.

Most memorable moment: “When we locked the regular

season district title against Woodbridge.”

 Which person influenced you the most in soccer? “Rudy

Zimmerman — playing under him, helped him the past five years and then

having him as my AD this year.”

What do you like most about coaching soccer? “Seeing

the development over the course of the year. Those three of four months

you have them, it’s fun to see the final product.”

What area have you improved the most in from last year to

this year? “Learning about discipline. I was probably too light

at the start of the season.”
