Manassas Journal Messenger | VDOT to close Va. 28

The Virginia Department of Transportation plans to close a section of Va. 28 in Fauquier County between Warrenton and Bealeton at 9 p.m. Sunday to replace a concrete crosspipe, according to a department press release.

The road will be closed to all traffic between Independence Avenue and Liberty Road until 4:30 a.m. Monday, according to the release.

VDOT crews will divert traffic to Va. 745 and Va. 837.

Message boards will be in place for the rest of the week to advise motorists of the upcoming closure and detour, according to the release.
